The performance of MarcoIannaccone / Scarlet Lovejoy refers to the myth of Pandora, the beautiful girl created by Hephaestus on the orders of Zeus to punish men. The young woman always carried with her a vase that Zeus had ordered her to keep closed, but Pandora, driven by curiosity, opened the vase and from it came out the evil spirits that were the evils of the world. Pandora, however, did not know that at the bottom of the vase there was hope, the only chance of salvation for the world and the last to die.
