This performance represents the loss and the inability to react and to oppose the threats present in today’s society. Medusa, a mythological subject, petrifies all those who look at it and in this representation expresses the concept that people in everyday life are completely blocked, petrified by moving like robots. The Medusa, by the hand of Perseus, loses its head and (therefore its power) and so it could happen to us if we do not actively engage in that things change. The performer is dressed as Medusa and during the performance, the “Medusa” loses its head and invites everyone to “give themselves a move” to move to recover from the epic chaos that we are experiencing.
