Lost
There are no longer any certainties, and everything is falling apart before our incredulous and apathetic eyes. Thus, this photographic project was born.
There are many losses, such as hair loss (a true ordeal for those who suffer and have suffered it), the loss of trains (intended as missed opportunities), the loss of innocence, of virginity, the loss of children and dearest loved ones. We accept it all without a word. Powerless. From this thought about loss, "Lost" was born, a journey through our shortcomings. Losing life coming out: losing one's life by coming out, because many people are incapable of being who they are and only manage to confess it before a firing squad. The photo exaggerates the discomfort of those who are gay and afraid to say it. Lost identity: the loss of identity by transsexuals, who must wait years to change their sex on their ID card. Loss in sin: a nun gives in to sexual intercourse. It's a case of saying that the church preaches well but practices badly. Lost his own sight: that marriage that numbs us and makes us lose touch with reality. Lost in delirium: the loss of sanity due to omnipotence. Hitler's dictatorship, which was parodied, symbolizes how the power and violence of a madman can lead a country to disastrous consequences, and we are not far from experiencing all this. Some photos are dramatic, others disturbing, but all ironic. "Society avails itself of the right to inflict terrible punishments on the individual, but it also has the supreme vice of superficiality and cannot understand what it has done." O. Wilde
